Web Developer (20-25 hours per week)

About the Role

This Web Developer role at Crimson Education involves working on the development and maintenance of the company's web applications, utilizing a range of technologies including Node.js, React, and AWS. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's online platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technical solutions, and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, React, and Next.js, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces using Tailwind CSS and Storyblok.
• Work with the DevOps team to ensure the smooth deployment and scaling of web applications on AWS and Vercel.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and maximum user satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in web development, participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technical solutions that meet business needs and drive growth.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in developing web applications using Node.js, React, and Next.js.
• Experience with AWS and Vercel, with knowledge of cloud computing and deployment strategies.
• Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and Storyblok, with a strong understanding of front-end development principles and best practices.
• Typescript and Vercel experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio of projects and a passion for learning and growth.
