About the Role
This Graduate Engineer Trainee- Mechanical Engineering role is an exciting opportunity for freshers to kick-start their career in the automotive industry. As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will be part of a structured learning journey designed to build the next generation of engineers at CT Automotive. You will be based in Puebla, Mexico, and will be required to relocate for long-term career growth.
During your tenure, you will be exposed to various functions and will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects. You will be trained in plastic injection molding, production, assembly painting, quality, supply chain management, and engineering project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine setup and parameters for plastic injection molding
- Line balancing and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) optimization in production
- Paint process fundamentals and booth/oven parameters in assembly painting
- IATF/VDA basics and PPAP/APQP in quality
- Material planning, scheduling, and inventory control in supply chain management
- APQP gateway tracking, timeline/risk logs, and change management in engineering project management
Skills & Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- Experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry (added advantage)
- Previous study or work experience abroad (preferably in US or UK)
