About the Role
As a Sports Advisor at Decathlon, you will be the face of the company, interacting with customers to understand their needs and providing them with the best possible solutions. You will be responsible for promoting sports and inspiring customers to join sports communities, while also ensuring a smooth checkout experience and suggesting complementary products to enhance their sports practice experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Promote sports and inspire customers to join sports communities by sharing your passion and knowledge.
- Stay informed about Decathlon events and local sports activities related to customers' interests and encourage them to participate.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing personalized solutions and services.
- Use all available channels (in-store, app, etc.) to satisfy customers' needs and provide a seamless shopping experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet sales targets and customer expectations.
- Client Interaction: Develop strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and provide excellent customer service.
- MS-Excel: Use spreadsheet software to analyze sales data, track inventory, and optimize business processes.
- Business Analysis: Analyze customer needs and preferences to identify business opportunities and develop effective solutions.
- Merchandising: Understand product offerings and recommend relevant products to customers based on their needs and preferences.
- Interpersonal skills: Develop strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure seamless interactions and transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, sports management).
