About the Role

This role involves working on the backend of web applications using Python, designing and implementing efficient APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with frontend components.

As a Python backend developer at Desirous Global Consulting, you will be responsible for writing clean, modular, and well-documented code, ensuring high-quality testing, and participating in code reviews to improve overall codebase quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like Django and Flask.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend services using Python.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with frontend components.
• Write unit tests and integrate tests to ensure high-quality code and catch bugs early.
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality, maintainability, and readability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Python and technology trends and apply them to improve the codebase.
• Work closely with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with Python frameworks like Django and Flask.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and frontend frameworks like Angular and React.
• Familiarity with XML and HTML/CSS.
• Experience with Node.js and Fast API.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
