About the Role

As an AI Search Researcher at Dopest.io, you will delve into the world of large language models, AI assistants, and autonomous agents to investigate how they discover, evaluate, surface, and recommend brands. Your work will involve designing and running structured experiments across various AI search experiences, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and others.

By joining this role, you will have the opportunity to develop repeatable testing methodologies, create prompt sets, collect and analyze outputs, identify recommendation patterns, and evaluate the factors that influence brand visibility within AI-generated responses.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct structured experiments on how AI agents and large language models surface, compare, and recommend brands.
• Develop repeatable research methodologies, prompt libraries, evaluation criteria, and testing frameworks.
• Collect, organize, and analyze model outputs across multiple AI platforms and use cases.
• Identify patterns, inconsistencies, biases, and variables that may influence AI-generated recommendations.
• Compare results across models, prompts, geographies, user intents, and different stages of the customer journey.
• Research emerging developments in generative search, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and large language model behavior.
• Document experimental methods, findings, limitations, and recommendations in clear research reports.

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently completing the final year of a relevant degree, or recently graduated, in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, data science, information retrieval, computational linguistics, cognitive science, or a related research-oriented field.
• Strong interest in large language models, generative AI, AI agents, search systems, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with research methods, experimental design, hypothesis testing, and structured data collection.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative outputs and identify meaningful patterns.
• Basic proficiency in Python or another language used for data collection, experimentation, or analysis.
• Familiarity with APIs, spreadsheets, notebooks, or data analysis tools is beneficial.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to present technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and comfort working with ambiguous or rapidly evolving subject matter.
• Ability to work independently, manage experiments, and collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team.
