About the Role
This Pre Sales Business Analyst Intern role offers hands-on experience in supporting enterprise B2B sales cycles, with real exposure to US and UK markets. You'll work closely with the pre-sales and business development team, researching prospects, preparing proposals, and building presentations to win deals.
As a Pre Sales Business Analyst Intern, you'll be responsible for researching target accounts and prospects, mapping company size, tech stack, industry challenges, and key decision-makers. You'll also assist in building and maintaining sales collateral, including case study documents, service one-pagers, and competitive comparison sheets.
Key Responsibilities
- Research target accounts and prospects across US and UK markets, mapping company size, tech stack, industry challenges, key decision-makers, and recent business developments.
- Support preparation of RFP responses, capability decks, and client-specific proposals.
- Assist in building and maintaining sales collateral, including case study documents, service one-pagers, and competitive comparison sheets.
- Prepare discovery call briefs for the sales team before client meetings, summarizing the prospect's background, pain points, and likely requirements.
- Analyze competitor positioning, pricing models, and service offerings to support pre-sales strategy.
- Help maintain and update CRM records, prospect research databases, and deal trackers.
Skills & Qualifications
- Final year student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong research skills, able to find relevant, useful information about a company or market quickly and summarize it clearly.
- Good written English communication, able to write a clear, professional email or document without heavy editing.
- Brief understanding of IT services concepts (software development, cloud, AI, RPA, digital transformation) or a genuine interest in learning quickly.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint or Google Slides, able to build a clean, structured presentation.
- Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets for data organization and tracking.
- Curious, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions or suggest ideas.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines without reminders.
