Accountant required for a Group of School in Jaipur

About the Role

This Accountant role at Educo is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards for the Group of Schools in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Develop and manage budgets for the Group of Schools, ensuring alignment with Educo's financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Reconcile financial statements and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (BCom or MCom) from a recognized university.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Tally or QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in accounting, such as CA or CMA, is a plus.
