About the Role
As a Jr Software Engineer at EFFULGENT INC, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using a range of programming languages and technologies. Your primary focus will be on writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets the requirements of the project. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications using Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with REST APIs to integrate with backend services and databases.
- Develop and maintain databases using SQL and Git for version control.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Write unit tests and integrate tests to ensure the quality of the code.
- Participate in code reviews to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve skills and knowledge.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficiency in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience with REST APIs, Git, and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with Angular and React for front-end development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
