Associate Software Engineer (Full-Stack & AI Integration)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Associate Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. This is a foundational full-stack developer position tailored for recent graduates or early-career professionals who possess robust fundamentals in software engineering and are eager to bridge the gap between traditional applications and intelligent systems.

In this role, you will work across our entire application stack, building seamless frontend user interfaces, robust backend APIs, and exploring contemporary AI capabilities. You won't just write standard CRUD services; you will proactively help us introduce intelligent features, leverage AI APIs, and integrate foundational LLM mechanisms directly into our product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, responsive, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces using modern web frameworks.
• Build, scale, and secure enterprise-grade server-side applications, RESTful APIs, and business workflows.
• Integrate third-party AI/LLM models and cognitive APIs into existing codebases.
• Write efficient data structures and algorithms (DSA) to process high-throughput data streams smoothly.
• Participate actively in code reviews, write comprehensive unit tests, and collaborate closely with senior engineers and product stakeholders in an agile workflow.
• Develop and maintain robust backend APIs using relational databases like PostgreSQL.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a highly quantitative field.
• 0 to 1 year of software engineering experience (relevant engineering internships, open-source contributions, or comprehensive capstone projects are highly valued).
• Solid conceptual clarity in Data Structures, Algorithms (DSA), and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) architectures.
• Comfort with standard frontend layers (HTML/CSS/JS) along with back-end languages (such as C#, C++, Python, or Node.js) and relational database query language (SQL).
• Practical exposure to interacting with AI tools or APIs (e.g., building a weekend project utilizing OpenAI APIs, implementing basic prompt sequencing, or exploring vector search mechanics).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or version control via Git.
• Knowledge of modern AI frameworks, prompt engineering paradigms, and API endpoints to make applications smarter.
