Software Developer - Automation and AI

About the Role

As a Software Developer specializing in Automation and AI at Ericsson, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of intelligent, automated customer solutions during the build phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This involves executing detailed design of automation and AI-driven application and technical architecture components based on Systems Analyst specifications.

You will work on developing software components focusing on automation frameworks and AI integration, supporting component and system testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software components with emphasis on automation and AI capabilities
• Design and implement automation frameworks and scripts for testing and deployment pipelines
• Contribute to AI/ML component development and model integration within applications
• Participate in component and system testing with focus on automation testing scenarios
• Follow organization's best practices for software development, including Agile methodology and CI/CD
• Create and develop automation assets and AI-driven solutions
• Collaborate with senior developers to optimize automation workflows and AI implementations

Skills & Qualifications

• Python programming for automation and scripting
• Automation Frameworks: test automation, process automation, and RPA tools
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Sonar, Helm
• Front End Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or similar frameworks
• AI/ML Basics: machine learning concepts and model integration
• Component and system testing, Software Vulnerability Management, test automation
• Application, Product, and IT security awareness with DevSecOps practices
• Security Reliability Model (SRM) principles understanding
• Agile Methodology: Scrum/Kanban practices
• Problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills
• Linux/Unix fundamentals
• Willingness to learn emerging technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
