MENA Tax Payroll - Advanced Analyst

About the Role

This Advanced Analyst role in MENA Tax Payroll at Ernst & Young (EY) involves working closely with clients to analyze and resolve complex payroll-related issues, ensuring compliance with tax regulations across the Middle East and North Africa region.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing payroll data, identifying discrepancies, and providing accurate and timely solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process payroll data for clients across the MENA region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
• Identify and resolve complex payroll-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of tax regulations and payroll laws across the MENA region.
• Provide exceptional client service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with senior analysts and managers to develop and implement process improvements and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in payroll, tax, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and visualization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
• ERP system experience, preferably SAP or Oracle.
• Math skills, including algebra and basic statistics.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
