Trust Accountant

About the Role

As a Trust Accountant at EXL, you will be responsible for managing client money, handling reconciliations, and implementing process improvements to ensure operational controls and reporting governance. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Lloyds Market processes and delegated authority business. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage client money and ensure accurate reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational controls and reporting governance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Lloyds Market processes and delegated authority business.
• Develop and maintain bordereaux management systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive transformation initiatives and achieve business objectives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client money and transactions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of Lloyds Market processes and delegated authority business.
• Experience with bordereaux management and reporting governance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
