About the Role

As a Data Science Intern at Express Analytics, you'll be working on cutting-edge projects that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI to drive marketing and analytics platforms. Your primary focus will be on developing autonomous agents, implementing LLMs for text analysis, and building predictive models for customer lifetime value and churn prediction.

Throughout your internship, you'll have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, collaborate with a team of experienced data scientists and engineers, and gain hands-on experience with production-grade analytics and AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of autonomous agents that orchestrate data, analytics, and content generation for marketing and analytics product suites and internal tools.
• Implement and experiment with Large Language Models (LLMs) for tasks such as text analysis, sentiment understanding, topic extraction, and document summarization.
• Support the development and evaluation of models for customer lifetime value (CLV), churn prediction, segmentation, and RFM-style analyses.
• Help build and test forecasting and recommendation models for use cases like demand, pricing, and personalized offers.
• Work on components like look-alike modeling, attribution modeling, and marketing mix modeling (MMM) that improve campaign performance and budget allocation.
• Write clean, reproducible code and notebooks, run experiments, track results, and document learnings for the broader team.

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed B.Tech or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields.
• Solid foundations in machine learning (classification, regression, basic evaluation).
• Exposure to deep learning (e.g., CNNs, RNN/LSTM or transformers) and clustering techniques.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and basic SQL.
• Comfort working with Jupyter/Colab, Git, and APIs.
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar.
• Understanding of agentic AI concepts, multi-agent workflows, or tool-using agents.
• Exposure to deep learning libraries like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong analytical mindset, eagerness to learn, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
