About the Role

As a Consultant in Global Compliance & Reporting at EY, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to clients across various industries. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, as well as providing strategic guidance on tax planning and reporting. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their tax compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify potential compliance risks and opportunities for clients.
• Develop and implement tax compliance programs for clients, including preparing and filing tax returns and other tax-related documents.
• Provide strategic guidance on tax planning and reporting to clients, including identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimizing tax liabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including audit and assurance, to ensure comprehensive tax compliance and risk management.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored tax advisory services.
• Participate in business development activities, including identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals to win new clients.

Skills & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
