Electrician

About the Role

As an Electrician at F. Gheewala Human Resources Consultants, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems in the workplace. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, installing new electrical equipment, and repairing faulty systems to prevent downtime and ensure a safe working environment.

You will work closely with other maintenance teams to identify and address electrical issues, and collaborate with engineers to design and implement new electrical systems.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
• Install new electrical equipment, including wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.
• Repair faulty electrical systems, including diagnosing and fixing issues with wiring, motors, and other electrical components.
• Collaborate with other maintenance teams to identify and address electrical issues.
• Work with engineers to design and implement new electrical systems.
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations.
• Document maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.
• Ability to work with a variety of electrical tools and equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power drills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
