About the Role
As a Remote Content Moderator at FlexBoard, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of user-generated content on our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to review and moderate content to ensure it aligns with our community guidelines and policies.
This role requires strong analytical and decision-making skills, as you'll need to make judgment calls on content that may be sensitive or ambiguous. You'll also be responsible for escalating any issues or concerns to the relevant teams.
Key Responsibilities

- Make judgment calls on sensitive or ambiguous content, escalating any issues or concerns to the relevant teams
- Provide high-quality support to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns in user behavior, providing insights to inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our community guidelines and policies, staying up-to-date with any changes or updates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall user experience
- Meet productivity and quality standards, adhering to established workflows and procedures
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Psychology, Sociology)
- 1-4 years of experience in a related field (e.g., customer support, content moderation, quality assurance)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to make judgment calls on sensitive or ambiguous content
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel)
- Familiarity with content moderation policies and procedures, with a strong understanding of online community guidelines
