About the Role

As a Business Development Executive at FlytBase Labs, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the energy, mining, and critical infrastructure sectors. Your primary focus will be on building relationships with key decision-makers and crafting personalized campaigns to secure meetings and close deals. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical skills, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build target account lists across energy, mining, and critical infrastructure sectors, identifying companies that others may miss.
  • Run AI-powered research workflows to map org charts, identify decision-makers, and understand business context.
  • Craft and launch outbound campaigns that combine automation with genuine personalization.
  • Test messaging angles, subject lines, and outreach sequences, treating every campaign like an experiment.
  • Manage the full outbound stack, including Clay, Apollo, Smartlead, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other tools.
  • Book qualified meetings with VP+ executives at Fortune 500 companies and fast-growing industrial operators.
  • Develop playbooks and systems that make outbound repeatable and scalable.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of business development principles and practices.
  • Experience with AI-powered research tools and workflows.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
