IT - Business Analyst

About the Role

This IT Business Analyst position involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the CAESAR team to develop solutions that meet both business and technical requirements. You will also be responsible for facilitating communication between business and technology teams, ensuring that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of business needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and decompose problem statements into clearly defined requirements
• Communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Act as a bridge between business and technology, using technical and analytical skills to enhance or implement new Data Warehouse processes
• Identify ways to improve existing data quality and validate data as needed
• Gather, analyze, define, and document requirements and communicate them to the technical and non-technical audience
• Create Business flow/Data Flow diagrams and provide analyses for large datasets necessary for decisions using actionable insights

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with writing complex SQL
• Experience with Insurance Data Warehouse, data, and its processes
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, and Agile Processes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
