About the Role

This Software Engineer-Golang role involves designing, developing, and evolving software components, features, and functionalities in a dynamic and agile development environment using the latest software development infrastructure and technologies.

You will work independently and contribute to the concerned team and other teams within the company, contributing to discussions on design and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve software components, features, and functionalities using the latest software development infrastructure and technologies.
• Lead a team of 5-7 members in an agile environment, working with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements and vision.
• Translate requirements and vision into user story lists, prioritized and delivered on time with high quality standards.
• Work with Product Managers and Architects to develop multi-generation software technology plans.
• Stimulate team efficiency by eliminating duplicates, exploiting product and technology reuse, and supporting process improvement activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to align activities and deliverables, ensuring high-quality development and support of products.
• Ensure the team receives clear messages and understands the company's direction, strategy, and results.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
• Advanced experience in software engineering.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Computer Science.
• Experience in programming under Windows and Unix/Linux.
• Experience working on software projects in the energy domain (energy management, oil and gas, electricity, and water).
• Scrum Master certification and/or Product Owner certification.
• CI, Agile, Lean, XP.
