About the Role
As a Management Trainee-Record to Report at Genpact, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. You will work closely with the finance team to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for process improvements and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including procedures and checklists.
- Assist in the review and reconciliation of financial statements, including general ledgers and trial balances.
- Provide support for month-end accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve financial reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and compliance with company policies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in financial software, including general ledger and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
