QA Tester Intern

About the Role

As a QA Tester Intern at Havet AI Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. This involves identifying and reporting defects, verifying fixes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Your primary focus will be on manual testing, including test case development, defect tracking, and bug documentation. You will also have opportunities to learn automation scripting and contribute to the development of our testing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and report them to the development team.
• Develop and maintain test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software features and functionality.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and verify defects, and provide feedback on fixes.
• Document and track defects using our defect tracking system.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing-related aspects.
• Contribute to the development of automation scripts to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing.

Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with manual testing tools and techniques, such as test case development and defect tracking.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
