About the Role
As a QA Artist at Hexr Factory, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of 3D models, textures, and other visual assets created by the art team. This involves collaborating with artists, designers, and developers to identify and resolve any issues or bugs that may arise during the development process. You will also be expected to provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall quality of the assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and validate 3D models, textures, and other visual assets for accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with the art team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs that may arise during the development process.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall quality of the assets.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the game engine and its tools.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that all assets are properly integrated and functioning as intended.
- Identify and report any potential issues or bugs that may impact the game's performance or user experience.
- Contribute to the creation of test plans, test cases, and other quality assurance documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3D modeling and texturing using software such as Blender and Substance Painter.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine and other game engines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Portfolio that showcases your 3D modeling and texturing skills.
- Familiarity with PBR materials and asset optimization techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
