About the Role
As a Graphic Design Trainer at Honeybird Champs, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring junior designers in the fundamentals of graphic design. Your day-to-day tasks will involve creating engaging lesson plans, conducting workshops, and providing constructive feedback to trainees. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for graphic design students and junior designers.
- Develop and maintain engaging lesson plans, course materials, and training resources.
- Conduct workshops, one-on-one sessions, and group training sessions to cater to different learning styles.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to trainees to help them improve their design skills.
- Collaborate with the design team to stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and software.
- Assess trainee progress, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to address these gaps.
- Contribute to the development of training materials, such as tutorials, guides, and workbooks.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, color theory, and typography.
- Experience with design tools like Figma, Canva, and HTML/CSS.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Teaching or training experience, preferably in a design-related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
