Key Responsibilities

• Perform well-defined tasks and features in a timely manner with guidance from senior engineers while ensuring the highest standards of quality code.
• Contribute to the management capabilities of hybrid environments, monitoring of cluster health topics visibility, monitoring of consumers, as well as connector workflows.
• Create design documents to be used in subtasks, and include feedback from stakeholders efficiently.
• Use established coding standards and tools for development and release procedures in a cooperative environment.
• Design and develop comprehensive tests, solve issues, and actively participate during code review.
• Review logs and analyse measures to resolve problems with production, and get mentorship assistance.

Skills & Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree with a major in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable experience.
• A minimum of 0-2 years of hands-on computer developer experience (freshers and recent graduates are encouraged to be considered).
• Solid base in algorithms, data structures and concurrency, as well as networking and operating system concepts.
• Experience in writing clean and easily maintained programming code using Java, Go, or similar programming languages of the present.
• Showed enthusiasm for distributed systems and platforms such as Apache Kafka.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and an openness to feedback.
• Coursework or academic projects that are related in any way to Apache Kafka, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or important cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Contributions to open source projects or an interest in tools for observability and engineering of platforms.
