About the Role

As a GST Executive at Icore Financial, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless GST compliance across various business operations. This involves reconciling financial transactions, preparing and filing GST returns, and addressing GST notices in a timely manner. Your primary goal will be to maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with GST regulations.
  • Prepare and file GST returns on a timely basis, adhering to the prescribed deadlines.
  • Address GST notices and respond to queries from tax authorities in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of GST-related transactions and communications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure GST compliance across various business operations.
  • Stay updated on changes to GST laws and regulations, and implement necessary changes to ensure continued compliance.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues on GST-related matters.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, such as Tally or QuickBooks.
  • Working knowledge of GST laws and regulations, including GST return filing and GST notices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and tax authorities.
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
