About the Role
Join IMC as a Hardware Engineer Intern and be part of a team that challenges the status quo, solves problems, and innovates to improve. As a Hardware Engineer Intern, you will learn what it means to be an Engineer in a real-world environment.
Responsibilities
As a Hardware Engineer Intern, you will:
- Learn about algorithm complexity, professional design, and writing fluent code.
- Build knowledge of our business model and build relationships across our trading and technology teams.
- Be supported by a mentor who will oversee your projects and professional development.
- Have access to pair programming and code reviews.
What You'll Need
To be eligible for this role, you should:
- Be a student in your (pen)ultimate year of Electrical Engineering.
- Have strong analytical skills and a desire to solve complicated problems programmatically.
- Have proficient experience in Verilog, VHDL, or other RTL programming (additional software experience is a plus).
- Have an interest in financial markets (no prior knowledge or experience required).
- Be available for at least 9 weeks.
