Lab Chemist

About the Role

In this role as a Lab Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses, preparing and testing chemical compounds, and maintaining accurate records of laboratory procedures and results.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

As a Lab Chemist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of chemicals, equipment, and techniques, and contribute to the development of new products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analyses, including titrations, chromatography, and spectroscopy to determine the composition and properties of chemical compounds.
• Prepare and test chemical compounds, including synthesizing new compounds and optimizing existing processes.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures and results, including data entry and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, quality assurance, and manufacturing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and implement new laboratory procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in chemistry and laboratory techniques through ongoing education and training.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Strong understanding of chemical principles and laboratory techniques.
• Experience with laboratory equipment, including spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and titrators.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
