About the Role

As a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer at Impetus Capital, you will be the primary point of contact for customers evaluating our software or analytics products. Your day-to-day tasks will involve product demonstrations, understanding customer domains and database schemas, and providing OLAP and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations to qualified leads and support marketing activities such as events or webinars.
  • Own RFP, NDA, PoC success criteria document, POC Closure, and other documents to ensure alignment with customers and prospects.
  • Secure technical wins for all active opportunities by understanding customer domains and database schemas.
  • Work closely with customers to resolve environment, OLAP cube, or reporting-related issues.
  • Coordinate with the solutioning team to execute Proof of Concept (PoC) as per the success plan.
  • Identify enhancement requests or new features on behalf of customers or hot prospects.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Pre-Sales experience of software or analytics products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • OLAP tools or Microsoft Analysis Services (MSAS).
  • Data engineering or Data Warehouse or ETL.
  • Hadoop ecosystem or AWS, Azure, or GCP Cluster and processing.
  • Tableau or Micro strategy or any BI tool.
  • Writing and troubleshooting SQL programming or MDX queries.
  • Hive QL or Spark SQL or PLSQL or TSQL.
  • Working on Linux programming in Python, Java, or JavaScript (a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
