Software Engineer for Documentation with Automotive Microcontroller (MC) (f/m/div)

About the Role

Join our Documentation Enablement & Infrastructure team as a key contributor. You'll document complex, leading-edge automotive products using state-of-the-art tools and practices while collaborating with engineering teams worldwide.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities in your new role include:

• Providing SW solutions to support all aspects of the technical documentation flow
• Extracting information from source databases, manipulating content to required standards, building reports, and preparing content to interact with AI solutions
• Learning the documentation lifecycle from information creation to external release at given milestones
• Contributing solutions and ideas to improving the efficiency and accuracy of our documentation deliveries
• Ensuring the quality and consistency of our SW solutions
• Rolling out solutions to documentation, engineering, and technical marketing teams, as required
• Supporting and mentoring team members

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A degree in a related field such as computer science
• Strong SW programming skills in Python, including NumPy, pandas, XML libraries, and more
• A good understanding of XML
• Practical and demonstratable AI/ML knowledge
• Understanding of Knowledge Graphs and Ontologies
• MCP implementation experience
• Expert knowledge of Git/Gitlab and Jenkins
• Pro-active but process focussed approach
• Confident presentation skills
• A team player with adaptable attitude
• Basic understanding of a Component Content Management System (CCMS) and modular documentation
• Fluency in English with good written and verbal communication skills (German is helpful, but not essential)
