Solution Engineering Intern
Job Description
About the Role
As a Solution Engineering Intern you will sit at the intersection of technology and customer needs, helping to translate business challenges into concrete technical solutions. Your days will involve collaborating with senior engineers, drafting design documents, and running live demos that showcase how Infobip’s cloud communication platform can solve real problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and analysing customer requirements to identify the most relevant Infobip products and services.
- Draft simple architecture diagrams and integration plans that map customer workflows to platform capabilities.
- Build and run proof‑of‑concept (POC) scripts in Python or JavaScript to validate feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Prepare and deliver engaging demos to prospects, highlighting key features and ROI.
- Contribute to technical documentation, including solution briefs, integration guides, and security questionnaires.
- Participate in scoping meetings, helping to estimate effort and cost for new proposals.
- Support onboarding sessions for SMB customers, recording minutes and creating quick‑start playbooks.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript, with at least one personal or academic project on GitHub.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and experience pushing code to GitHub.
- Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and RESTful APIs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Interest in AI tools—experience with AI‑assisted coding or chatbot prototypes is a plus.
- Self‑motivated, able to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
What You’ll Learn
In this internship you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to full‑stack solution design, from requirement capture to deployment. You’ll learn how to translate business language into technical architecture, a skill that is highly prized in any software engineering career. The mentorship and real‑world projects will also sharpen your coding, documentation, and presentation abilities.
Resume Tip
Include a link to a GitHub repository that demonstrates a small but complete end‑to‑end project—ideally one that uses a REST API and showcases your ability to read documentation, write clean code, and document your work.
