Solution Engineering Intern
Job Description
About the Role
As a Solution Engineering Intern, you’ll sit at the intersection of customer needs and Infobip’s cloud communication platform, turning business challenges into technical blueprints. Your days will involve collaborating with sales and product teams to craft demos, write integration plans, and produce documentation that helps clients see the value of our messaging and AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery sessions with prospects to map their communication workflows and identify gaps that Infobip’s APIs can fill.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, drafting architecture diagrams and integration flows.
- Build and run proof‑of‑concepts using Python or JavaScript to showcase real‑time messaging, authentication, or AI‑powered chatbots.
- Prepare and deliver engaging demos, highlighting key features and answering technical questions.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address technical and security questionnaires.
- Document solution designs, deployment steps, and best‑practice guides for internal and client use.
- Assist in estimating effort and cost for proposals, feeding data into pricing models.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or recent graduate).
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript; ability to write clean, testable code.
- Hands‑on experience with GitHub: version control, pull requests, and open‑source contributions.
- Familiarity with AI tools or projects; comfort with integrating third‑party APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset, with a knack for turning complex requirements into simple solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Self‑driven attitude, capable of managing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
What You’ll Learn
In this internship you’ll gain a deep understanding of how enterprise‑grade communication platforms are built and sold. You’ll practice turning abstract business goals into concrete API integrations, learn to craft persuasive demos, and see how security and compliance shape product design. The experience will give you a solid foundation in full‑stack development, cloud services, and the sales‑engineering loop.
Resume Tip
Showcase a GitHub project that integrates at least one Infobip API (or a similar messaging API) and include a short video link of the demo in your résumé. This proves you can translate a requirement into a working solution and demonstrates your communication skills.
