Backend Developer (Nodejs, Sql Server)

About the Role

As a Backend Developer at Infonode Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, database integration, and API connectivity of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of features and high-quality code. Your primary focus will be on building scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using Node.js and SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend systems using Node.js and SQL Server to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and other backend services to integrate with frontend applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.
• Optimize database queries and improve database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and other automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development and apply them to improve our software applications.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Node.js and SQL Server, with experience in developing backend systems using these technologies.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, including inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and other backend services.
• Knowledge of relational databases, including database design, normalization, and query optimization.
• Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Familiarity with version control systems, including Git.
