About the Role

This AWS Admin, Terraform role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS. You'll work with various AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Lambda, to ensure high availability, security, and performance. Your tasks will include automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, and collaborating with development and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, including creating and managing Terraform modules, workspaces, and state management.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for repeatable deployments, using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
• Manage core AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch, to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security, using tools like CloudWatch, ELK, and logging tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate Terraform deployments, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes.
• Handle backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, and workspaces.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration and scripting skills in Bash/Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, and Load Balancing.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including CloudWatch and ELK.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, and encryption.
