AWS Devops Engineer

About the Role

As an AWS DevOps Engineer at Infosys, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and applications on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and scaling of cloud-based systems.

You will work with various AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation to build, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, and security groups.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of cloud-based applications.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using AWS services like CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
• Ensure compliance with AWS security and governance best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS features and services to recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and applications.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and applications using AWS CloudWatch and other tools.
• Knowledge of security and governance best practices on AWS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
