About the Role
As a Network and Infrastructure Automation Engineer at Infosys, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated network and infrastructure solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Your day-to-day tasks will involve working with various networking protocols, technologies, and tools to automate file transfers, scheduling, and other infrastructure-related tasks.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions that meet business needs. Your expertise in enterprise networking, SDWAN, and infrastructure automation will be essential in driving business outcomes and improving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated network and infrastructure solutions using various tools and technologies.
- Configure and manage SDWAN solutions to improve network performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to automate file transfers, scheduling, and other infrastructure-related tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve network and infrastructure automation solutions.
- Document and maintain accurate records of network and infrastructure configurations, changes, and issues.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking protocols, technologies, and tools.
- Experience with SDWAN solutions, routing, switching, and infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, and Managed File Transfer (MFT).
- Experience with automation tools such as CA ESP Scheduling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
