CA Fresher for Fund Accounting/NAV

About the Role

This CA Fresher role involves working with fund accounting and NAV computation, ensuring accurate and timely computation of Net Asset Value (NAV) for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and Portfolio Management Services (PMS). You will be responsible for overseeing fund accounting operations, including corporate actions, capital activity accounting, and reconciliation processes.

As a CA Fresher, you will also work closely with auditors for concurrent, internal, and statutory audits related to NAV verification, and liaise with fund managers, custodians, brokers, and counterparties for NAV-related queries and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely computation of Net Asset Value (NAV) for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and Portfolio Management Services (PMS)
• Oversee fund accounting operations, including corporate actions, capital activity accounting, and reconciliation processes
• Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and other applicable financial laws governing AIF/PMS operations
• Work closely with auditors for concurrent, internal, and statutory audits related to NAV verification
• Calculate and verify management fees, brokerage, custody charges, and other fund-related expenses
• Liaise with fund managers, custodians, brokers, and counterparties for NAV-related queries and reporting
• Implement automation tools for reconciliation and NAV processing to enhance efficiency

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of fund accounting and NAV computation
• Familiarity with SEBI regulations and compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• CA (Chartered Accountant) degree
• Knowledge of financial software and MS Excel
