Quality Jr. Engineer

About the Role

The Quality Jr. Engineer at Jabil supports the Quality Assurance team in maintaining product quality and ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control procedures and documentation.
• Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data, identifying trends and potential issues.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality deviations.
• Participate in internal and external audits, helping to prepare documentation and follow up on findings.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related problems.
• Assist in the training of production personnel on quality standards and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and organized quality records and reports.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., SPC, 8D, FMEA) is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
