Motion Designer Intern, AI Startup

About the Role

As a Motion Designer Intern at our AI Startup, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual experiences that bring our products to life. You will work closely with our design team to develop motion graphics, animations, and interactive experiences that showcase our AI-powered solutions. Your designs will be used across various platforms, including web, mobile, and video.

Key Responsibilities

• Design motion graphics, animations, and interactive experiences for our AI-powered products.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop visual concepts, storyboards, and prototypes.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our brand identity and visual language.
• Work closely with the product team to ensure design solutions meet product requirements and user needs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design skills and knowledge.
• Participate in design critiques and feedback sessions to improve design quality and consistency.
• Assist in the development of design documentation, style guides, and other design-related materials.

Skills & Qualifications

• BA/BS in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in motion design software such as Adobe After Effects, Blender, or similar tools.
• Experience with animation, video editing, and visual storytelling principles.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and visual composition.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with AI design principles and SaaS design patterns a plus.
