Graphic Design Intern

About the Role

As a Graphic Design Intern at KALS Group of Companies, you will be responsible for assisting the design team in creating visually appealing graphics, logos, and other visual materials for various software applications and platforms. Your primary focus will be on learning and mastering industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and developing your skills in UI/UX design. You will work closely with the design team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing visual materials such as logos, icons, and graphics for software applications and platforms.
• Learn and master industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Develop your skills in UI/UX design and create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Work closely with the design team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs on time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and product development to ensure design consistency and alignment with company goals.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies and apply them to your work.
• Participate in design critiques and feedback sessions to improve your design skills and knowledge.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles and human-centered design.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Canva and Figma.
• Strong understanding of color theory and typography principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• Portfolio that showcases your design skills and experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
