About the Role

As an AR Accountant at KENT, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with the finance team to identify and resolve any discrepancies in invoicing and financial reporting. Your primary goal will be to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and credit notes.
• Process and reconcile daily transactions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in invoicing, payments, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment processing.
• Develop and implement process improvements to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Oracle ERP and its applications in accounting and finance.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in financial documentation, record keeping, and financial reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
