About the Role

As an Accountant at Koshda Buildcon, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will work closely with the management team to identify areas for cost savings and implement efficient financial processes. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including filing tax returns and making payments on time.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget vs. actual comparisons and variance analyses.
• Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the management team to support business growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for cost savings and implement efficient financial processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom) or equivalent.
• ICWA or MBA degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and service tax.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the management team and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in accounting software, including Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP.
• Cost Accountant certification preferred.
• Accounts Manager experience preferred.
