Core Accounting Swiss

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to clients in Switzerland, adhering to Swiss GAAP and other relevant regulatory requirements. You will work closely with clients to understand their accounting needs and provide timely and accurate financial reporting. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reviewing and preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and identifying areas for improvement in clients' accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Swiss GAAP and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in clients' accounting processes.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to clients, including ad-hoc reports and regular financial updates.
• Work closely with clients to understand their accounting needs and provide tailored accounting services.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with clients' accounting processes, including financial reporting and compliance risks.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as tax and audit, to ensure comprehensive and integrated services to clients.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in accounting and financial reporting.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Swiss GAAP, including financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends and anomalies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and other teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a strong academic record.
• Relevant certifications, such as CA or CMA, are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other accounting software.
