Junior iOS Developer

About the Role

Lascade is seeking a Junior iOS Developer to join its experienced engineering team and contribute to the development of high-quality native iOS applications. As a Junior iOS Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining native iOS applications, working closely with cross-functional teams, and staying up-to-date with Apple's latest technologies and development guidelines.

This role is ideal for freshers who are passionate about iOS development, eager to learn, and excited to build real products. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from AI-powered apps to travel technology and subscription platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and iOS fundamentals.
• Assist in building new features from concept to production, working closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, integrating APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.
• Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance, participating in code reviews and engineering discussions.
• Learn modern software development practices and continuously improve your technical skills, staying updated with Apple's latest technologies and development guidelines.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to leverage modern AI-powered development tools and improve code quality.

Skills & Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in iOS development or strong personal projects.
• Good understanding of Swift and iOS fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
• Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
