About the Role

As a Ruby on Rails Developer at Leading, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, efficient, and secure web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, testable, and maintainable code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Ruby on Rails features, best practices, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and other technical artifacts, ensuring clarity and accessibility for team members and stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ruby on Rails framework and its ecosystem.
  • Angular or other frontend frameworks for building dynamic user interfaces.
  • HTML, CSS, and SASS for building responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • HAML for templating and layout management.
  • jQuery for client-side scripting and DOM manipulation.
  • PostgreSQL for database management and querying.
  • Shell scripting for automating tasks and workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
