Junior Software Engineer

About the Role

As a fresh developer at LogiNext, you will join a team that builds high‑volume, low‑latency services for real‑time logistics. Your daily work will involve writing clean Java code, exposing REST endpoints, and collaborating with product owners to translate business needs into scalable microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement new features in Spring Boot, ensuring they meet performance and reliability targets.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to maintain code quality.
• Assist in database schema design and optimize queries for MySQL and MongoDB.
• Deploy services to AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS) or Azure, following CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor application health with Prometheus and Grafana, and troubleshoot latency issues.
• Contribute to front‑end components using Angular, HTML5, and CSS3 for internal dashboards.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups and sprint planning, providing realistic estimates for tasks.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases (MySQL).
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL stores such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
• Front‑end exposure to Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented design.
