Business Intelligence/Data Analytics Specialist

About the Role

As a Business Intelligence/Data Analytics Specialist at Lonza, you will be responsible for analyzing complex business data to inform strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse.
• Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reports to track progress.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to provide real-time insights into business performance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
• Participate in data-related projects and initiatives to drive business growth and optimize operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Experience with JavaScript, Angular, or React is a plus.
• Certifications in data analytics or business intelligence are a plus.
