About the Role

In this AWS DevOps Internship, you'll work on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS). You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, from deployment to monitoring and troubleshooting.

As a DevOps intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on a hybrid internship program that offers flexible hours and a job placement assistant to help you transition into a full-time role after completing your internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud-based systems using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high uptime and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and recommend improvements to existing systems.
• Document and share knowledge with team members to ensure knowledge retention and transfer.

Skills & Qualifications

• AWS Certified Developer or Cloud Practitioner certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, availability, and security.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
