About the Role
As an Associate Developer Analyst Intern at Medline Industries, LP, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing existing or new software applications using various development languages. You will work collaboratively in a team environment to develop, maintain, and support applications used by an internal department or business users.
Work closely with customers to produce technical solutions/requirements that drive value for the business area. This role involves designing, documenting, developing, testing, and delivering software that meets customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications using various development languages.
- Work with customers to translate functional/business needs into technical requirements.
- Develop test plans, prepare test data, test, and document results.
- Create and deliver documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of modified or new software.
- Support all deployed software, resolving any issues and improving performance in a timely manner.
- Adhere to and enforce all company standards related to software development, including security, performance, and resiliency standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT-related field or business.
- Knowledge of applicable programming language and software development methodologies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and support multiple users/platforms, as well as work prioritization and planning.
- College level courses for software development, computer science, business analysis, software design, and testing.
