About the Role
As a B2B Business Development - Field Sales professional at Meritto, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the SaaS industry. Your primary focus will be on building relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their business needs, and presenting Meritto's software solutions as a valuable addition to their operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
This role requires a strong understanding of the SaaS market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will be expected to travel extensively within the Mumbai region to meet with clients and prospects, and to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the SaaS industry
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Travel extensively within the Mumbai region to meet with clients and prospects
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Skills & Qualifications
- CRM software experience (e.g. Salesforce.com)
- Strong understanding of sales automation and marketing automation tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 0-4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
