About the Role

As a QA Engineer at Milliman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in testing web and application-based software, identifying bugs and issues, and reporting them clearly to the development team.

On a daily basis, you will work closely with the development team to understand project requirements, create basic test cases, and execute them to ensure that the software meets the desired standards.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the team in functional and regression testing, following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing processes as per project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in testing web and application-based software to identify bugs and issues.
• Understand project requirements and create basic test cases to ensure software quality.
• Execute test cases and report bugs/issues clearly to the development team.
• Support the team in functional and regression testing to ensure software stability.
• Follow the SDLC and testing processes as per project standards to ensure quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve bugs and issues in a timely manner.
• Document and maintain test cases, test plans, and other testing-related documents.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with testing tools and methodologies, such as Express.js, Java, and SQL.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the development team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and report bugs/issues.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Basic knowledge of Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
